Today was 109 in Ontario and hotter other places.
I stay in with air on. Not greedy, I keep it at 82 degrees

Why only Californians????? I'm in S FL. Do think it's cool here? I can handle with the heat, but my new roomie can't. She recently had an operation & some of her meds make her feel even hotter than the temp. I have to keep it on now for her.

I'm not a Californian (whatever that is) but here in Miami it was hot as hell yesterday and the day before that . I went to the beach and when I came home from there my AC had broke . I filled the tub with water and got in , I was already wearing my trunks . I brought my fan , computer , iPod and tv with me and spent the rest of the day like that until bedtime .

Not well. I start whining when the temp hits 88D. You have my sympathy. The news showed the rain and thunder in Ontario, a few days ago. Muggy is not my favorite.

3 quick showers a day. at night its really cool so its nice to be outside. drive slower so i can use the AC and gas doesnt drop. hey some parts of iraq where the US soldiers are 150+ and look at the gear and uniform they have on. I guess we should be thankful for two things.

dude...i have a legitimate fear of heat stroke right now. i pretty much just guzzle ice cold water, only consume jamba juice or frozen yogurt, and take really cold showers about 8 times a day.

Swimming in a neighbor's pool, visiting air conditioned buildings (i.e. church, shopping mall, etc.) My thermostat is set at 78.
