I read that what blind people see in their dreams depends on how much they could ever see. If someone has been totally blind since birth, they only have auditory dreams.
If someone has had a measure of sight, then that person dreams with that measure of sight.
People’s dreams are based on the things they experience in their lives. So a person who has never experienced "seeing" will not dream using sight.

When one is blind, they cannot see anything outside themselves. People who aren't blind, dream when they close there eyes to sleep...so I believe that blind people are dreaming 100% of the time. To this day I don't even know how people dream who aren't blind. Where do dreams come from? While we are awake, we are consciously thinking...but in our dreams, it feels as if someone is playing a movie for us in our minds.

depends if they used to see and got blinded for some reason or if they are blind at birth. People blinded after birth can dream normally, while people who have never seen anything have dreams involving abstract images, smells, sounds, tastes, and touch.

I wondered about that also. I imagine if you had been able to see at some time in your life you would have memories to go on. If you were blind from birth there would be any sight images to picture in your mind.

in images, much like a seeing person. However it depends on whether the person is blind from birth or had seeing years. Our dreams are colored by experience, and sight is obviously paramount to most peoples' experience.

dreams are subconscious images projected by the mind, so i think that blind people usually dream just like the people who arent.

i had a blind friend and she told me she dreams but just hears things, like people, or she will know she is some place. and she also told me sometimes she sees flashes of colors
