What do you think of this quote from "Pornified"?

"Particularly on the Internet, men find themselves veering off into pornographic arenas they never thought they could find appealing. Those who start with softcore develop a taste for harder-core pornography. Curiosity becons the user to click deeper within a site, perhaps paying for something..."

How can this be good for men or women?
Is this why women are now shaving themselves to look like little girls and accepting anal as a given?

I don't believe in God, but God help us all.

I do not see why women should be so possessed with attracting that type of men, STOP IT! ladies, a real man respects every part of a female anatomy for what it was made for! The anal was not designed to "receive" but rather to "purge" the body of impurities...the mouth was made for nourishment not s a hole to insert a shaft into for male gratification, FOR GOD'S SAKE STOP THIS INSANITY ! These things are so utterly degrading to the female species, you do not want a man who does not respect you any more than to want you to do those "un-natural" things for HIS pleasure.

Some years back, I found myself falling into the very thing being discussed here. I stopped, and deleted the images I had been downloading. Then, recently, I've found myself on a (dating?) site that seems to serve no other purpose than to be a referral service for prostitutes. Which is why I asked another question myself about women who pay to seemingly advertise there. At least that's how I felt.

I never thought about women shaving their pubic regions in that context before, but it does seem to make sense now. I would look at some of the pictures these women would post of themselves, and think to myself, "gee, that looks like a wound that hasn't healed. Believe me, I love pu$$y. But I'd rather have something to tickle my nose when I put it to the grindstone, so to speak.

And as far as anal goes, I covered that elsewhere. I personally find it repulsive. I can keep my face in the cookie jar all day. But the last thing on earth I need, is to be an anal suppository!

By the way. I have also (recently) kept that site hidden from myself. I figure, out of sight, out of mind. The less I see it, the less I am tempted to participate. I did find in the past that it began to change who I was as a person. And frankly, that scared me. I am now once more presented with the decision to remove this from my life entirely.

In his way Stalin was another Hitler, and Stalin lasted longer in power, and died of old age, still in power. Stalin was in charge of Soviet Russia, a very powerful nation. Since that time there have been several dictators in charge of nations which have had wide influence, e.g.Ghaddafi in Libya (small nation by population, but big influence because of oil), Mao Tse Tung in China and Saddam Hussein in Iraq (oil, again, and look at the chaos in Iraq since he was deposed). Nobody can predict the future, but I would not be surprised to find a dictator in a similar position to Hitler at some time.

I think that most guys who go looking for porn already know what they want to see. Just as cannabis has now been disproven as a gateway to harder drugs, I think that softcore is not a gateway to hardcore.

Again - and this is personal opinion - I don't object to the odd bit of hc porn, but I am mystified at this obsession with bum sex. I just don't get it - and it seems to be obligatory in every movie I watch these days. Not interested, don't think it sends out a wholesome message at all. For me, it makes me switch off, rather than wanting to try it.

I'm all for people experimenting under their own curiosity, but dead against anything being forced on someone else, just because it appears on screen.

If you really want to know my view on pornography (and what kinds of negative effects it can bring) check out the answer I just gave in the psychology forum to the question one woman asked: "husband needs to have an ultra secret stash of pornography even in his work bag?" I starred it. It's at the bottom of the first page...it might be on page 2 now (or by the time you see it.) I'd post the link but it's much too long. I think you'll find it interesting and possibly enlightening.

I would not approach the issue as being bad OR good for people, but more for sexual release and sheer curiosity for the majority.

Sex is a human need. Social boundaries restrict the act in most cases. This is where human instinct and logic mingle...in the world of porn. They look, but may not touch. I'd say rape and molestation are evil, but not necessarily porn (within the law).

Men are curious little boys who like to explore. The shaving part are not to look like little girls but for easy cleaning and hygiene...

Yes exactly. I have asked a very similar question concerning pornography and deviant sexual practices, such as you mention, becoming common place in our failing society and have been attacked roundly for it. I agree and think that the influence of pornography is causing men to not have respect for women and for women to not have respect for themselves. I do not think that pornography is totally to blame for this but I think that the way that men increasingly degrade and debase women and the way that more and more women seem willing to allow it is partially the fault of pornography. I do believe in GOD and I hope that he does help us find our way back from the brink.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with pornography. The feminist need to stop whinning and complainning about every little thing.

If you aren't happy with free speech as protected under the 1st amendment then why don't you move to another country, seeing as you hate this one?
