I've seen this time and time again. Questions that have nothing at all to do with this administration or its policies- liberals always come up with a way to bring Bush into it and bash him. Is this just the liberal disease of Bush Derangement Syndrome?

Edit- Wow, some of you deranged liberals out ther actually answered my honest question with an "I hate Bush" rant instead of actually answering my question. Thanks for proving my point!

Yep. That is usually because they have no real facts or beliefs to back up their arguments and positions, so they just bash. Its always easier and a sign of those who really have noting to say to turn to insults rather than intelligent debate.

I feel sorry for them sometimes. I'm not sure what they are going to do once he is gone and they realize they have no actual independent thoughts.

Look at congress. They got the dems in by being anti bush and have done nothing. They had no real ideas. All they know is they hate Bush. Ask them to reply to something by nor mentioning Bush and they can't do it. Its actually funny to witness!

I also think its funny that people of the party that preaches "liberalism" and letting everyone do whatever they want are the first ones to knock someone with a differing opinion.

You are correct about the bashing phenomenon. Probably around 70% of the libs in here do this.
To be honest though. There are quite a few others that actually are just disagreeing with Bush's policies, which is fine, and their right to do so.

But the ones that do the bashing are mostly immature little brats that have nothing better to do than to throw out ad hominem attacks not only towards Bush, but all conservatives.

Examples of this?
Who in here that consider themselves conservatives have been called "Neocon" or "Chickenhawk" or "homophobe" or "con racist"?

This is the best these brats can do for they have no real ideas or answers. Just childish attacks.
There is no reasoning with these people. Trying to reason with them is akin to reasoning with a 5 year old.

Do you have a specific example? Or is this merely (yet) another "I hate liberals" question, that amazingly bears a striking resemblance to the "I hate liberals" rants that are passed off as answers?

From additional details (above):
"Edit- Wow, some of you deranged liberals out ther actually answered my honest question with an "I hate Bush" rant instead of actually answering my question. Thanks for proving my point!"

Never mind, I understand now... anyone who does not 'answer' your 'honest' question by agreeing with you is a 'deranged liberal'. Honestly, do you really think this question is any better than the rants you profess to abhor? Does it serve well as an embodiment of your repeated challenges for 'real debate'? I think not!

I'm trying to understand here:

The question is: is it amazing that liberals can bash Bush for any question [here in the politics section], even ones that have nothing to do with him or his policies, or isn't it amazing that they can?

Then there is another question about "Bush Derangement Syndrome".

As to the first, no, it's not too amazing that liberals would do this here in the politics section of Yahoo Answers. I would need examples of questions that truly had nothing to do with his administration or its policies to give a better answer.

I don't know what to make of the second question.

Is it possible that your post is an "I hate 'I hate Bush rants' rant"?

Just asking....

You'll probably think I'm proving your point, but:

The W. Bush Administration has been pretty divisive. And in the past two years, fairly ineffectual and incompetent. (As seen in the loss of the Republicans control of the Congress, and his low approval ratings.)

Divisiveness plus incompetence is going to get you more unfair rants, even when he is not specifically mentioned in the question.

And in the Y!A politics section, that's doubly true.

Hey Common Sense, you know that there is that thing about common sense, it's not common! The things that I read on Yahoo answers regarding the differences between Republicans and Democrats sickens me. This two party systems is falling apart and both ends have become so extreme, that those of us here somewhere towards the middle but definitely leaning right, are sickened by what is going on.
The liberals and this is the last time I call them that because they are liberal/socialist, they are calling Bush a dictator, yet they want the government to completely control every aspect of our life! Hillary wants prohibition against tobacco but at the same time wants the government to completely take over the industry. There goes free enterprise. Don't smoke but make sure you pay huge taxes to fund what ever program they want with your tax dollars. Edwards want to dictate to us how many times a year we should go to the doctor for a check up. The socialist tried to shut down freedom of speech by removing people like Rush and Hannity from the air waves. They protest against our own military who are fighting for our freedoms. They want the UN to dictate to our millitary how to fight a war when no other country listens to them. So we have rules to follow and the enemy doesn't. That is a no win situation. They want to dictate to us what we drive, and what we use to fuel what we drive. They want to take our money to pay for others who choose not to work for a living. And if you make too much money, shame of you, you must give it away. We have freedom of religion, yet we must be sensitive to others religions. The list can go on and on. The liberal socialist of this country are destroying our way of life. They are feverishly trying to get their agenda into place and they are rather impatient when it doesn't go the way they want. We are not allowed to smoke a cigarette practically anywhere anymore, but we are expected to pay incredible taxes on tobacco to fund health care for the poor. Billions of our tax dollars have gone to help rebuild a crime infested, gang ridden, cest pool of a city like New Orleans, yet nothing is getting done there. It has been two years. A bridge collapses, that's President Bush's fault and now they want another 50 cents per gallon of gas to rebuild our infrastructure. Everything comes down to taking more of our hard earned money to fund a socialist/communist agenda. It will only end when they have complete control of every aspect of our lives. I agree that everytime you ask a simple question it turns into a I Hate Bush Rant. It is simply because you and others are exposing their lies and their rhetoric and their ultimate goal. To take us over completely. We must stop the New World Order, stop the socialists, and just simply stop the insanity!! 2008 is practically our last chance to over throw the socialist and take this country back to it's constitutional roots. It is time to become Isolationist again. It is time to fight or we are doomed to become Russia of old.

It just cracks me up how right-wingers want to constantly whine about people "hating" and "bashing" Bush. First of all, this question has been posted a bunch of times, and many people, including me, have taken the time to explain to you guys that there's a difference between hating someone and vehemently disagreeing with his policies. Secondly, you are the same people who decimated and destroyed Clinton for eight years and thought that was perfectly fine.

Does the hypocrisy never end? Is there a person on the right who is ever philosophically consistent and who can say, well, let's admit it, we practiced politics of destruction on Clinton and now they're saying bad things about Bush, so it comes out even? Or can you not even see the imbalance of your complaints?

If you look at Bush's approval rating right now it's pretty low. Even his fellow Republicans are starting to look at him as the idiot he really is. The Conservatives blame everything on Clinton getting a BJ from a Whitehouse aide. So what are we supposed to think? Bush would have lied in the same situation, guaranteed. Any man would.
At least Clinton had us out of debt or at least closer than we have ever been, and Bush has thrown us in deeper than we have been in 40 years, because of a stupid war based on incorrect intelligence....Or was it oil maybe?... Even Cheney said back in 1994, that invading Iraq would lead to a quagmire, and look what happened. Did cheney forget his own words?
Have you ever listened to Bush speak? He can't even pronounce nuclear correctly and his wife is a teacher!! Do you see 2 u's in NUCLEAR?

P.S. after reading all the answers and the questioners f/u comment: You provoked those answers with the very question that you asked. Because he's the freaking President, duh! Maybe we go in to a Bush rant, because he is the reason the Republican party has turned in to a bunch of ultra-conservative liberal hateing self rightious, clueless pigs, who in turn, go on a Clinton rant. So eat your own words, mr common sense, and try opening your ears and hear what's really going on. I actually saw a comment in our local newspaper urging all the Republicans to register as Democrats so they could vote against Hillary in the primary, to keep her from running for President. Are you all THAT afraid of the Democratic party and HillaryClinton????????????????? GEEEZ!!!!

I actually do find it amazing how everything seems to be Bush's fault. Liberals act as if he is a dictator who is solely running this country. Why not blame the democratically controlled congress, which has lower approval ratings than the president, for all the problems in the country?
