I can't really come up with a time period but I know living now really sux. I think around about the 90's is when things started going all to hell. For me that's because used to you could leave your house unlocked and not worry about anyone breaking in. Families did more together as families. There seemed to be way more respect back then. These, of course, are just a couple of examples. I also know that in a few ways life now is better. Segregation for example.

well, actually I was born in 1915.REALLY!you stay young by living young.being a little bit older isn't as cool as you think.I mean think about it!Theres lots of downsides to it.I've been through the roaring 20's depressing 30's but nothing was ever as bad as Bush! The state of our government is so bad these days and so far away from it's original purpose. The grateful dead!you didn't miss much they had a cult following,,kinda like Jackyl. Not to knock your taste in music but,,come on man, jerry couldn't touch Morrison!

The Roaring 1920's. I love learning about speakeasy's, Al Capone, the prohibition of alcohol and how women were beginning to come out of their own shell through the flapper scene and how much controversy this all caused.

I would have loved to have lived in 30-200 A.D. in Rome as a philosopher. It would have been great to be able to day dream all day to pay your bills.
