In a bare tank, you will get maybe, 0-15 fish that will grow to maturity every spawn. The only chance you would have would be to plant the tank very heavily. This would allow all the fry to hide from the parents. The best option for the highest fry yield would be two separate tanks.

Guppies are called millions fish for a reason. Usually each female will have about 20-40 fry in a little over a month. Unless you want to end up with so many fish you can't keep them all I'd just leave the adults in the tank and make sure that there are hiding places for the fry.

If you want to end up with them all still there at the end of the day, you'd be better to take them out, unless you tank is very heavily planted. For a few hours after giving birth, females produce a hormone that inhibits their appetite, but after this wears off, she will go after her own little ones! Males are not so bad, but together they can pretty much scarf the whole lot down! Some strains of guppy are worse for it than others, but just to be on the safe side, if you want to keep and raise those little guppies, take them out.

Last year my family got a couple male and female guppies, just to answer this very question,I know.....a little weird..... But we had two tanks,in one we didnt put any plants(artificial or real) in it,in the other we put plenty of plants in.In the bare tank only 1 baby guppy made it,in the full one we got like 25(We did not take out the parent fish). So our conclusion was that with places to hide, the little ones got along just fine with their parents.

If you want all the fry to live, you should remove the adult guppies. Your other option is keeping the adults and babies together and stocking it with plants (plastic or real). Put floating plants on top so the fry won't get eaten while looking for food.
Also, you should cover the filter with pantyhose and secure the pantyhose with an elastic so the fry won't get sucked in.

even if you let nature take control, you'll need to make it like nature. you'll need plants and rocks so fries can hide.
well if you want to remove the parents or the fries, either way are fine. just make sure they don't get stressed
