I mean we all have said something like friend's come first and stuff but is it really true? I mean when it comes down to it most people would ditch their friend's for their boyfriend or girlfriend? What do you think about these statements?

You raise a good point. I think if I found my soul mate sort of guy, I would be ditching my hoes and telling him to do the same for his bro's. Lol or chick and *****.. wateva.
But people are like that.. all talk until they actually fall in love.. I know because I've seen three of my friends go through it.

No. That is actually one of the stupidest things I've ever heard and I hate it. What if you are equally friends with both sexes? Sometimes a guy's "bros" aren't even really there for him, but he will screw things up with a good girl because his buddies tell him he needs to be a player or whatever. And girls do it too. A good friend will respect your choice in who you want to be with. Even if they don't like that person. They have every right to think that person is "wrong for you" but it's not up to them to pick that person for you. You have to do what makes your heart happy and sometimes this shows you who your true friends really are.

I'm not on the single circuit but this has never been true for me. I mean, when people are single and want to have fun, this is what they say. Different people have different priorities. I know a few people who would ditch their friends for their boyfriend or girlfriend.

Anyone I am with had better accept that I don't give up my friends for anyone. They either accept that or they can hit the road!!!
