I think the Raiders will win 6, maybe 7 games at the most. The way Russell develops and the way McFadden is used will both be critical to their success this season. Walker makes the receiving corps better, but he's not the answer there. And Hall will give the team's young defense some leadership, but I think they took a huge hit in the front with Sapp retiring. They're headed in the right direction, but they're still an elite deep threat and a few other parts away from being a playoff team.

They will probably win 1 game, maybe two if they are lucky.
Oakland Raider fans are on Crack. I hope they don't win any games. My in-laws are raider fans and always in my face. I'm a 49er fan and in my eyes the 49ers beating the raiders in preseason was the only game they had to win this season even if it was only preseason. Being realistic it's going to take a lot of time before they are a real team. Give them a few years before they can be a so-so team. They can't even sign their 1st round pick J. Russell.
I heard a romor that someone in Las Vegas wanted them and they would become the "Vegas High rollers" They would do better if the team was sold and moved to vegas, I hope that rumor is true but who knows the credibility of that source.

Haha 10? They traded the best player on the team and have no offensive line and no quality QB on the team. The defense isn't bad, but they'll be on the field 40 minutes a game. First year head coaches especially out of the college ranks usually don't fair well either. I predict the same as you 3-13.

I'd say 4 at the most. The funny thing about The Raiders and their fans is that they both have the same brain damaged mentality. I seen a bumper sticker today that said "Don't be a Raider Hater" or something crazy like that. It went from "Era of Excellence" to something all together pathetic real quick with no sign of recognition or understanding from their fans. I believe in blind loyality just as much as the next guy, but when it dilutes your sense of perception to the point of retardation, then you are beyond hatered. You just induce pity.

erik doesnt know what he is talking about. for a team to go 2-14, then follow up with another year just like that, is extremely rare. VSTARDAMICO doesnt know what he is talking about either. "deteriorating defense" are u kidding? oakland's defense last year were one of the rising defenses of the league. not an overrated defense: 3rd ranked defense in the league.
the raiders have a good quarterback, and a good defense.
they will go 5-11 or or 6-10.

I think youre right about the oakland raider record because i dont see them having 10 wins on their belt this year, but anything is possible. Their division is tough too, between facing denver and san diego twice.
My prediction for oakland (4-11)

2-14. I think they will win against Houston at home and against Green Bay on the road. Talking about 10 wins for this team is just crazy.
