To me, a authentic genius is somebody who can take their ideas previous what's customary and understood, and delve into the chaos of the unknown then come back with some thing new. this is been stated too that theres a psycho in each genius, and that i believe it rather is real additionally. Psychotics can lose their minds into this realm of the unknown, right into a international of chaos, and could no longer deliver something back from it or deliver back some thing that only isnt superb. however the genius can bypass into this and then communicate back some thing that by some skill is smart to each person else. Haha im exhausted in the present day, i'm hoping what I wrote makes some degree of sense.

Genius is definitely a high IQ, but I know people who are genius on paper but as dumb as a box of rocks. Real genius is the ability to take any situation and make something good of it.

It is hard to say. the technical definition is someone who does well at IQ tests. However - they are now shown to be flawed. And the concept of multipull intelligences is gaining ground. As for skill, the application of NLP techniques is showing that most people can have any skill.
I therefore would prefer a definition like - to be a human is to be genius

I think we often think someone who is great at mathmatics and/or the sciences is genius. Or someone who writes so incredibly well. But the true definition of genius is someone who has high intelligence. This is more well rounded. So a genius to me, is a person who can see all sides of alot of diffrent things...

To me, it is having a seemingly innate ability to think outside the box. A genius therefore, would be recognized by his work and how he treats his work. They tend to shatter the long-established paradigms and standards of their field. The mark of a genius is the ability to induce catastrophic change.

Being genius does not mean you are excellent in class and have many talents. Being genius is how you handle it, and you know what's wrong and right. I mean, example;
(why are going to smoke? for what? Haven't you realize that smoke can bring you cancer?)

Genius is a matter of recognizing that the old ways aren't the best ways, and making new ideas work, despite what critics say.

My definition of genius is one can use his brain in a way nobody else can explain.
A good example might be the documentary have been shown on TV about Albert Einstein's brain.
