Absolutely. So you should never, EVER leave them lying around on window ledges where Elmer Fudd is sneaking up on Bugs Bunny.

Of course not.
But they are slippery enough to have caused numerous injuries and many deaths from the falls they caused.
The banana peel became synonymous with falls for a reason. Before trash cans on the street became common, banana peels were a real danger to pedestrians in the early 1900's.

I thought that they weren't, but one day I did accidentally slipped on one - AND THEY ARE as slippery as they make them seem !!!
