I originally was going to post this about peoples contacts list, some people have alot and others, like me, only keep people on it that I like to actively keep up with.
Maybe I will ask this question about YA contacts next time...

age 29. i prefer a small group of close friends. i used to have the large number of vague friends but it's less satisfiying, alot harder to maintain and, well, they're not always there for you.

Real friends are those that are there for you in times of need, these tend to be small in number, Acquaintances or Vague friends as you put it, simply are not friends in the true meaning of the word,

I am 53 and my husband is 62, and we both prefer small groups of folks at one time, vs. tons of folks all at once. But we both like our life of seclusion, and quiet-ness.... and we prefer our country quiet life style. Neither one of us, like large crowds. We are content to stay to ourselves..... on our 1/2 acre of ground, in our double wide mobil home in the country...... We like our simple life style.
Our friends are not "Vague people",,,,, but we just don't see much of them, due to our schedules. And we prefer it that way.
