If I changed the D.O.B. on my birth certificate?

Nothing; until you used the certificate to apply for anything from a driver's license to your social security. Then you can be charged with falsifying a legal document, Fraud, even Perjury if you had to swear an oath.

If you never showed it to anyone, nothing.

If you used it for something like registering to vote or get a driver's license or passport, it's forgery and uttering. That's a felony right there, and there could be additional charges for fraud, or attempting to obtain an official document under false pretenses.

It's not a very smart move.

Why would you want to change your D.O.B for?......nothing unless you use it to do something under the goverment or law.

depends on what you use it for but just about all of the uses would fall under fraud for starters.

The rest of the charges would depend on what you tried to get from it.

If you are just showing it to a girl to make her think you are older nothing, but if it makes her commit a crime then yes like if she is an adult and you are not but the DOB on cert makes it look like you are

How is anybody going to ever know. Assuming they did, it would depend on the state. I doubt that would ever actually amount to much in most states.
