If you go to the pharmacy they'll probably be a lot cooler about it. Just make sure nobody you know is there and it'll all go smooth. I (18) work at a gas station that sells both condoms and pornographic magazines, and I don't really act any less normal when people buy that stuff. So an alternative could also be going to a gas station or super market where a young guy is behind the counter, ask for the condoms and joke about it i.e. "I might get lucky tonight" and it'll be fun :)

you know it's funny but my boyfriend is 21 and he makes me go in the drug store to get condoms. he's just shy but at least we do use different forms of birth control.
I was on the pill but now getting an IUD and then we use condoms. No unplanned pregnancy here!
So just go in, take a friend with you and just buy some. buy some others things too like chocolate and shampoo.
unless you're 14 no one's going to be like "omg that guy is buying CONDOMS"
when I see someone buying condoms I'm like cool they're smart. but when a girl is buying a pregnancy test I'm like shouldn't have been so dumb.

well you're gonna wanna 'do it' eventually and if you aren't mature enough to buy condoms then you obviously aren't mature enough to have sex. plain and simple. here, i got it.
just imagine the girl you messed around with called you after a few weeks and told you that her period was late and that if she's pregnant then you're the daddy?
or you messed around with someone you thought looked clean but ended up having an STD that wouldn't just go away with meds. like AIDS or herpes? yeah for me at least that would scare me into buying them.
but then again, there's alway celebacy...

I don't think that goes away. You just have to keep in mind that you don't want to end up with kids or STD's
