LOL, Ms Crone. SOME of the folks here don't have a sense of humor even when it's being OBVIOUS that humor is intended and you are hoping that they will get DRY humor? Good luck with that one. LOL

It's humor that is given without expression. Not much fluctuation in the voice and no laugh or smile or anything.
You could also call it deadpan.

when the person doesn't laugh at a funny joke but does at their own non funny joke its dry because the humor is sucked up
