It would depend on their work values wouldn't it? Right from wrong.

We don't like to hear of criminals who got away because of a good (tricky maybe dishonest ) lawyer--and it happens often enough. But the law is- everyone is entitle to fair representation. This has helped many too. I think like any profession it has its good and bad.
I think we hear more here because the temptation to make a name for oneself is so great among lawyers-many do fall to any temptation that will Accomplish that. And because it hurts us so to see a crime go unpunished. (Two fold) Also emotionally charged encounters in the courtroom atmosphere test the lawyers ability to keep it less personal which also tests their values at an emotional time. Pressure can be a test of strength in those values.
So will they go to heaven you ask---it would depend on their heart values.. Just like everyone else. I also heard "broad is the path to destruction--"seems many will accompany them.

And I shouldn't but I do like a good lawyer joke.

Some are wonderful people and will go to heaven, and some aren't and won't--just like any other profession, whether it's teachers, patrolmen, ditch diggers, coal miners or fishermen.

Heaven? There is no such place. It is an illusion.

Quit living for an illusion and start doing stuff for real on earth.

Everyone that accepts Jesus will go to heaven. Even lawyers, who are known to be corrupt. I have had a couple of lawyers steal from me in the past, but Jesus still loves them

There are many lawyers who work very hard to help people. Someday, you will need one. Pray to heaven you get one of the good ones.
