The chances of death are reduced, that is about how safe it is. A lot of times, the baby has to stay in the hospital longer and usually takes them longer to develop if they are premature.

I had my 3rd son at 32 weeks and he was 4lbs 1oz. he was a healthy 32 weeker. he only had to stay in the hospital for 7 days. he had to be on oxygen for the first 2 days.

I am a respiratory therapist...
it is relatively safe to have your baby at 32 weeks. especially now with all of the great new advances in neonatal medicine. it helps if you have had a healthy pregnancy. most 32 weekers need some support at first, however, they ususally turn out just fine. some of the most common complications are jaundice, feeding difficulties, and respiratory problems.

NOT VERY! I had my baby at 35 and had to watch her get poked with IV needles and be put into an incubator for a while. She was on a respirator and had tubes and wires all over her body. And that was just to top it off. You dont ever want to watch your newborn get an IV in her, their blood vessles are so small that they end up busting 8 or 9 of them in the process of finding a good vein. Its heart wrenching to watch your child cry from this.

It's not safe at all! Where your baby MIGHT be viable (i.e. born alive), he or she will NOT be healthy. You can look forward to your baby spending his or her time in the NICU until your due date.

well i know someone who had her baby at 27 weeks and she ended up fine.if your baby's lungs and organs are developed then all she needs is fat storage, but she would more than likely be fine. meaning the chances are much better for her. good luck hun. :)
