No. We were partners before we married, both working full time and sharing the chores or doing them together. We had friends that we saw together and both maintained friends we both knew but saw apart from each other. We saw each others families regularly, attended church together and had similiar visions for child rearing, saving money, the home we would enjoy but had enough personality that there was always new things to discover about each other and enjoy- or argue about!
We came home from our honeymoon and he didn't lift a finger again to do a chore. He saw his friends on the weekends for a while until we hashed it out and we spent more time together. Sex became a chore to him unless he thought of it first. Then it was okay. I was certain I had done something terrible or changed in ways I didn't realize to make this happen. I spent years trying to regain that partnership
, changing myself over and over again in the process until I didn't recognize myself any longer. Counselling saved my sanity, but alas not my marriage.

He was the nicest person when we meet. i thought he was a present from God. After marriage, I realized he was the most stressed and depressed person without any control on anger. I wish there he would attend anger management class. He is still nice but there are also dark side which he covered perfectly before marriage. It is a pity.
