I don't know where you are, or what kind of program you have applied to. It sounds like the university to which you applied has rolling admissions, which means that you can apply at any time and find out within some period of time whether or not you have been accepted. That isn't the norm for undergraduate programs; most have application periods during which they will accept applications, and then they evaluate all applications and send out most of their acceptances at the same time.

I would say that I would expect 2-4 months unless you have been told otherwise. Your best bet is to call them and find out what their timeline is.

Did you apply for this fall?? Most universities will send out a letter within a few months, but you might want to call the registrar's office just to check and see what the status of your application is. There might be some paperwork they need or something that you left blank, and you won't know until you ask them. Give them a call and they should be able to help.

Hope this helps! :-)

I would call the college's admissions office on Tuesday. Best wishes.
