I know this Thai girl who likes me, and I like her back. We'd like to go out and start a relationship but I'm a bit skeptical right now of how her parents would recieve me, because I hear Asian societies do tend to be a bit prejudice, or at least untrustful, of outsiders.

My ethnicity is Persian, but I was born and raised in the United States. My family and I aren't very religious so religion isn't a problem as far as my side goes.

I was hoping some Thai people would be able to give me advice on wether or not we should go through with our relationship.

Thais are much more open than other (stereotypical) asian societies, so you have a pretty decent shot at being accepted.

I am not Thai, but I understand they are tribal people like we are. I've spoken with many. I've come to understand them.

it's really gonna depend on them.

were THEY born here?

how close do they hold on to their traditions?

would you really want somebody that will give up their traditions for you?

Would you give up YOURS for her?
