If you google it, many sites have listed a Depeche Mode version, but unless they didn't record it.
It seems folks are confusing them with Soft Cell (ouch)

Not that I know of. However, as another poster pointed out, Marilyn Manson redid that song. However, he also did a cover of Depeche Mode's song "Personal Jesus". The styles are similar so that could lead to some confusion.
