i like a bunch of stuff, i mainly listen to classic rock, but i like alternative, blues, 80's...i listen to the radio but i haven't heard any popular music that i like lately...i need to listen to some new bands!!!! please help!!! thank you:)

thanks everyone!!! you guys suggested some really great sounding bands...i'm gonna give it a day and listen to some of these, and wait for a few more suggestions. and then ill pick the best answer. thanks again!!!!

Not recent but check out
David Bowie,Elvis Costello,The Cure,The Smiths, Bauhaus , Love and Rockets, Siouxsie and the Banshees, New Order, Depeche Mode

You probably already know some of them =s, but they were important for music (theyre good too)

if you like blues and classic you would probably like Kenny Wayne Shepard Excellnt new age blues/rock with a great ability to remake soe of the greats like Hendrix and Clapton
