She said she would probably sleep with him after they have gone out for a year which is in a couple of months. She is 15 and told me before she had a boyfriend that she would like to wait until she is engaged to have sex. When i asked her why she felt that she should sleep with him she just said "because i want to". I think thats a stupid reason and i want to try and talk a little more sense into her because i dont want her to do something she'll regret. What should I say to her?

Discourage her from taking such a step. Her boyfriend will wait until they are more mature or he doesn't deserve her. She could end up pregnant (yes birth control occasionally fails) she could end up with a disease (yes condoms occasionally fail) and this is something she cannot undo - so when he dumps her the next weekend, she will not be able to wish it away. You kids need to grow up - and it sounds like you are doing that - but your friend sounds very immature. Good luck.

She should be mature enough at 15 to know to not have sex. The only thing u can do is to advice her to use protection. Really its HER choice. U can't really stop her except give ur opinion about it.

Seriously try and guide her to at least decide on a form of birth control. give her a website about sexually transmitted diseases that should help too.

first I would tell my mom. Not trying to sound babyish but she could try talking to her mom wich could work. Also if nothing hapens keep on trying to talk some sense into her and if she is still being stuburn please stay away from her. u dont want her to get u into it to.

If she must do it, insist they use birth control. And yeah seeing what some STDs can do to your body, that can be a good deterrent.
