I do...and I have to thank Poltergeist, the movie, for it.
Apparently this is very common with the Gen X generation....
Anyone else?

I don't know if Generation X has exclusive rights on clown phobia. I think they are plenty damn creepy for all generations. My thoughts on various clowns.
Bozo & Cookie - Never had any desire to appear on their show as a youth.
John Gacy - Reality is often the most terrifying thing.
Pennywise the clown from the movie "IT." - Only Stephen King could make a made-for-TV movie so frightening
Krusty - just ugly.
Insane Clown Posse - far and away the most disturbing of the clowns. Let's take a bunch of violent, in-bred, illiterate misfits and dress em up as clowns. Except we won't call them clowns but rather Juggalos. Then we'll give them a band that makes really bad music and something of a platform. Or perhaps just an excuse to beat up on each other.
Keith Flint, lead singer for Prodigy - What, that wasn't a clown in the video for Firestarter? I always thought that was evil Bozo. Seriously, great song.
Captain Spaulding - My favorite clown for obvious reasons.

I definitely do! John Wayne Gacy, hello! I saw a movie the other night called, "The House Of 1,000 Corpses" and there were a few very scary clowns in that. I've never seen the appeal of going to the circus. Even when I was a little girl, the clowns didn't make me laugh; they freaked me out!

By girlfriend has a clown phobia, thanks to Poltergeist as well. My nieces and nephews think it's hilarious and they try to scare her with clown photos. She won't even eat rice because of the maggot-filled steak scene.
Poltergeist has messed a lot of people up. Sign of a good horror film, eh?

Don't think I'd go so far to call it a phobia but they definitely creep me out. If we're talking about RAPPING clowns (Insane Clown Posse) than yes, HUGE phobia of that!

I had my avatar as a clown the other night and about 60% of my contacts freaked and told me I was going to give them nightmares, so I had to change it.
And now look at me.

Yes, I do. I think it might have something to do with the time I went to the circus and a clown ate my dad.

My wife doesn't have a phobia, she just out and out can't stand them! I always enjoyed the good ones, there are some that aren't worth the white face. I did enjoy Killer Klowns From Outerspace, unintentionally funny movie.
