I see the flat shpes are maing a comeback. Problem is they were last in style when I was in 6th grade, so as an adult that is 4'11" I am worried I will look silly. I am not one of those teeny tiny short people that weighs 90 lbs either, although I am not obese either. Help, I want to look good in a current trend, but I don't want to try it if I will look silly.

in fact,i myself never wear flat shoes although they are stylish coz I'm only "5" feet and overweight which will make me look shorter. A friend of mine who is short and has a beautiful body wear flat shoes most of the time. She looks cute and fashionable wearing them.
After all, wear whatever makes you happy and contented.

Short women can definitely wear flats. Flats will never go out of style because they're casual and comfy. It goes with almost everything. I've seen short and tall people wear it, and it never looks bad on any height.

I'm 5 feet and 17 years old. I love flats! I have like 10 pairs of them. They go perfectly with shorts, capris, and even jeans.
To elongate yourself while wearing flats, match them with a pair of dark washed skinny jeans.
Wear them, it doesn't matter if you're short.
Sure, it would look great if you wore heels, but flats are comfortable, chic, and super hot!
You won't look silly, go for it.

I am short and I have to wear flats because any kind of heels hurt my feet. It's a shame, but comfortable.
This is one area where comfort comes first. I will spend time on my hair and make up

residences have not got a heel...this is why they're stated as residences! i'm short and that i think of they look superb on short human beings. i could placed on them with some capris or a skirt this is above the knee so this is going to intensify what length of legs you have. The length of the capris or skirt extremely relies upon on your physique type and shape. i could get some residences, circulate to the mall and examine out some issues on and see what you like with them! ggod success!

Why would you looks silly as your natural self. I'm 5'1, and alI I ever wear is flats. Besides, I'm saving my feet from looking like they belong in a medical deformity museum.
Are you telling me that you only wear something when it's "in style"? You haven't worn flats in years?

Yes, short women can wear flats, just like tall women can wear heels. There's no rule you need to follow as far as shoes go, just wear whatever you prefer. It doens't matter your build either...

of course they can!! im 5"2 and i used to wear heels all the time, but now i've been wearing flats a lot lately and trying to be proud about it... when you wear flats it shows that you are confident with yourself and the skin you're in... you have to embrace your own beauty and learn to love yourself the way you are... and besides, nobody cares that eva longoria, or nicole richie are like 5"3!
