Last Pharaoh, I saw the video you posted. I know that life in Egypt is not all "bamby bamby" ... That's what I mean by seeing with your heart, not just looking with your eyes. Of course there are millions of problems, but that does not make me love Egypt any less. If you really care you try to do your best to make it a better place. Instead of complaining about the dark, light a candle.

i've been to Egypt through many ways, for sure the most important is from my heart........
but there are many ways i could never neglect it, for these really affected my personality a lot and made me love this amazing beautiful country much and much.
for example from those who inspired me were ; my great highly respected and missed teacher Mr. Abdul Wahaab Motawee, (the writer of Bareed el Gom3a)..............also, for sure Naguib Mahfoouz and his three amazing novels (El Sokarreyya, Ben el Asrein & Asr el Shou' ).........and my new destiny (wish to read his book) Sir Gamal Hemdaan of "The Character of Egypt" (Sa7'seyet Misr).......and the last but not least my favourite writers and poets Salaah Jaheen, Fouaad Negm and Belal Fadl (amazing guys)
Such people, i see Egypt through them..........not only see it but also feel it.
i felt its agony and joy, its cruelty and mercy, its sadness and happiness..............i felt everything through them.............
I knew ~~~~~~~(((((((( Egypt))))))) ~~~~~~~~~ through them

I really love Egypt and wish my family would go back there.
I am part Egyptian on both sides!
Seeing all those places in Cario and Alex with the the music made me wannna cry! Honest I am not kidding you.

Awww, cutey Farah, you have no idea how much I love Egypt. I've been saying that over and over and I don't think I will ever get tired of it. I work in Customer Service and when people ask me where I am from I tell them that I am Egyptian, of course I get raised eyebrows, lol, but who cares! This afternoon I was proudly wearing my sweatshirt that has the word "Egypt" on it. I could go on and on but I don't want others to get bored with my answer, so I'll stop now...

Wow, it's soooo beautiful, we tend to forget its beauty and charm and that warmth we feel when we r living in it.
I especially liked the first song coz it described exactly how i see Egypt and the part when he says " i am coming back" made me cry. I have just left Egypt 5 days ago and i am already soooo homesick.
