False.....godman were once "normal humans" before they "became" divine. We are all divine.....we must look INside ourselves and observe the observer (it's called second attention)
PS - Look at Buddha - he was a human who recognized his own divinity

How would one know? I mean, proclaiming that you are divine because you studied with the divine is like a guy saying he has a large penis. If he has to say it, it's probably not true.
In short, there is no objective position through which the two categories--divine versus normal--can be constructed. That is, they can only be constructed by a person that is either divine or normal (since you list them as the only two possibilities). Thus, who gets to judge?

Iron sharpens Iron??..
but first we must be molded and refined to true understanding from our heavenly father before we reach out to rub up against any one........otherwise we are just a stumbling block that has shared knowledge without giving understanding in it's fullness,.........if we are not clear in the message in the performance of love which brings understanding then they will be unable to obtain wisdom............There is a systematic process that must be achieved before wisdom can be obtained,......We must choose our words wisely when the message is given,......understanding is vital! I suppose this depends on what you personally believe. My belief is that each of us carries with us and is part of something "divine"...therefore, we can connect with the divine when learning from each other. (Depending on what it is you're learning, too, I suppose.)
To me, spiritual evolution is unity that encompasses all of us and our Creator together. We can all learn from each other..and to do so brings higher enlightenment.
Just my opinion.

"Passive acceptance of the teacher's wisdom is easy to most boys and girls. It involves no effort of independent thought, and seems rational because the teacher knows more than his pupils; it is moreover the way to win the favour of the teacher unless he is a very exceptional man. Yet the habit of passive acceptance is a disastrous one in later life. It causes man to seek and to accept a leader, and to accept as a leader whoever is established in that position."
