Oh wait - I'm missing one...hmm, let's see ...
The Philadelphia Experiment, I guess ..

Mind you - I wasn't born yet when the exorcist came out, but I recall seeing it at a drive-in theater, I guess as a re-run...but it freaked the hell out of me especially on a large screen

The legendary duo - Jason and Freddy.

Children of the Corn and Poltergeist too.
Oh, Carrie, also! Her mother freaked the crap out of me. And the scene with the pig's blood...

Friday The 13th all the way. I still don't understand how my mother would subject a 6 year old to that...

Poltergeist didn't help. So, in the end I was afraid of our house AND the outdoors.

Strangely enough I became a huge fan of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies shortly after that. And that's not even the extent of my weirdness : )

That gasping gill-guy from the Black Lagoon, yet a very huge scare for me grew to become into Howard Hawk's "the situation" (from yet another planet) I sat actual up front. I had very undesirable eyesight and the whole movie grew to become right into a blur. The low, rolling piano song grew to become into helping me to make sure what i presumed. I had to stroll homestead at on the brink of nighttime in the time of snow swept streets. It gave me the creeps i grew to become into fascinated in way of the alien creatures with long skinny hands with 3 fingered tree-frog palms interior the unique conflict of the Worlds. Then I have been given glasses and Hollywood have been given outcomes and went all digital. i don't have nightmares .

CHILD'S PLAY! I wanted to throw away all of my dolls... They never looked the same to me.

And, of course, A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET... The fact that Freddy run to get his victims and laughed, that he killed you on your nightmares and you could do nothing about it scared me to death.

And then I'd say THE EXORCIST and THE OMEN... That kid running down the hall on his tricycle just gave me the chills. And Regan as a possessed girl was just... terrifying!

Thank God I can watch anything I want now... But with someone in the house! LOL!

Cheers! ;)

The Exorcist scared me for the opening scenes. The unknown presence when they were digging in the desert was just too creepy. The Salem's Lot monster really scared me too. The movie was on TV and they would have commercials for it, and the commercials gave me nightmares.

The Omen- I was always afraid that I would find out that I was the anti-christ.. Yeah, I know it's nuts.
The Birds- It just re-inforced my huge fear of birds.
Child's Play- I just knew my toys were going to come alive when I was in my room going to sleep at night.
Invasion of the Body Snatchers- I thought it could really happen.

I was probably about 7 or 8 when I saw these..

The Birds.

Me and some of my friends decided to watch it late at night when I was having a slumber party. We're all still traumatized. LOL

I am with the first guy. My parents took me to the theater to see The Shining when it first came out. They should have left me at home. That scared the crap out of me then and is still damn creepy now. Great movie.

That would have made me all of eleven years old. :-)

The original "War of the Worlds," which I saw when I was eight.
I dreamed I was at my elementary school, and four of those flying machines with the disintegrating rays were coming down the halls at me from four different directions!
Yeah.

Do you remember "The Blair Witch Project"?
I was in 6th grade when that movie came out... my parents rented it and we all gathered around to watch it.
That movie scared the living crap out of me for the longest time! I was scared to go use the restroom at night and till today, I am scared to stand in a corner or face a corner because in the movie, the Blair Witch made the victim face a corner when she killed them.
ARGH!! this is freaky...
