Whats better GeForce 8600M GT or a ATY radion x1600
or are they equal plz tell me ill be playing battlefield 2142 on the ATY radion x1600 and want to know if my video card is any good or if its a piece of crap plz tell me i have a mac os x

8600GT of course!
X1600 is a mainstream card but only has 12/5 pixel/vertex shaders. 8600GT has 32 speedier stream processors and almost double the memory bandwidth. Try to look for factory overclocked variants of the 8600GT.

the x1600 is good at 1280x1024 med/high settings around 30 fps want more power than the 8500GT will be a good upgrade
