You are so tightly strapped in nothing could happen! This weekend i went on my first roller coaster. I went on every roller coaster that they had at the park and wasnt even scared! Roller coasters have to meet saftey standards so they will be fine for you to ride! Just ride them and have fun! Nothing will happen!

I am 47, I ride roller coasters all the time. Just did the NY NY in Vegas a few days ago. Nothing bad is going to happen to you. I have been upside down many times. I am more frightened of the long lines getting on the ride, than the ride itself. Its safe and fun. Relax and get in the zone.

The best way to get over a heavy duty roller coaster is close your eyes and dream of something pleasant and pretend that you arent on a rollercoaster. If u really really really want to handle your fear of roller coasters u have to face it. Go on as many as possible. Once u go on alot u will soon think its not that big of a deal and go on more without being scared.

If your scared of falling off the train at the top of the loop don't be. theres more than that shoulder restraint thats keeping you from falling out. it's called gravity. the centrifugal forces of the loop actually keep you in your seat. since your looping around gravity is pushing you down so your butt is on the seat the whole time while on inverted coasters the gravity is the same but it feels like your legs are gonna get ripped off because the gravity is pulling at your legs. so don't be scared the most you'll feel is pressure before and after the loop pushing down in your seat.

Roller coasters are supposed to be fun.
Are you "lose my funnel cake all over my BFF Jessica" scared or just "scream out loud and laugh when it's over" scared?
There's nothing wrong with the second; in fact it's more fun for your friends, but if it's too scary to be fun, then admit you're a "wuss" and be honest with your friends. Real friends will respect you for it.

Don't ride it if it really is terrifying and you don't want to do anything about it. If you want to get over the fear... There is only one way. I think you probably already know what to do. That would be ride it. Just do it and don't think about what you're doing until you're there. Once you're locked in you're not going anywhere. Good luck with that one.

It's alll in your head! I mean, if you just ride them I'm sure you can concur your fear. But, that's just me...I'm a roller coaster freak, and I will ride anything! So, my advice is just do it and don't make a big deal out of it. Pysching yourself out is why you hate them so much.

Ok, I am afraid to death of them and I rode the Griffon in Busch Gardens. My trick is to close your eyes once you see the loop. It helps to not look and you don't really pay attention to it. Just try it once and if it doesn't work, then you know that you tried something and it didn't work and you don't have to wonder if it would of.

just make sure you're the right weight. My sister almost fell out of the ring of fire because she's anerexic. If you're not anerexic, I think you'll be fine. I went on the ring of fire the first time when I was 11, I think?
