i played it in my orchestra class
and it's not the song by the shadows

and where can i hear it again?

it's just a wild guess, but it could be the piece "Apache Dance" from the american musical Show Boat.

The Shadows had a hit with it in Britain but Jorgen Ingmann had the US hit.
