Do you feel like they are a girl's best friend, or do you think it's absolutely rediculous that a girl would have an inanimate object as a BFF?

In my opinion, It's absolutely ridiculous that a girl could have an inanimate object as a BFF. My hubby and my dogs are MY best friends!
That statement makes women seem materialistic and shallow, and while I know many women who would agree that their Coach bag is their best friend, they are few and far between!

I think it's absolutely ridiculous. Diamonds are definitely not my best friend. It makes girls seem materialistic and shallow.

yes i believe diamonds are a girl best friends; did you notice most women take they dia. every where they go and they keep them on all day and if they lose it they will freck out big-time . they love it and sherist it for ever just like how they love and sherist they best friend.

I LOVE jewelry, but no object is my BF.
Also, I've quit buying diamonds and buy CZs. People who have to mine the rocks pay with their lives. They are treated horribly.
My motto is: Never own anything more valuable than anyone.
(that applies to cars, house, jewelry, ANYthing. )

I can't speak for all women, but I can say that I'd never place an ton of importance on a ROCK. That's just not me.
