I had passed your question, but on the other hand I decided to answer it. I don't really know from where or what state you are from, but here in Texas, especially this booming town of ours close to San Antonio, Women rule, most of them, not all Work at professional Jobs, they take care of their Family, and even their Husbands, but the Husband better toe the line or else out he goes. we do not tolerate being taken for granted, because we carry the weight like, or more than the Men do. So, in this Dusty town, Woman rule and are in charge.

Men may be the head but the woman is the neck, and the neck turns the head....j/k =)
Women & minorities have been held back that's why. Change takes time.

I let my husband run our world for the most part. i stay at home with the kids, he works and i take care of him. That is the least that I can do since he works so hard for my family.

in charge of what? changing the oil in the car? earning the living? mowing the lawn? taking out the garbage? cleaning the basement? walking the dog? painting the house? yes, i would say you are definitely in charge of all that.
