Modern geologists consider the age of the Earth to be around 4.54 billion years.

In 232 years, it'll be 232 years older.

Where did you get that rubbish from? The earth is at least 4.5 Billion years old! Anyway; this is History not geology so you asked this in the wrong section...

It all depends on your beliefs. In the book Guns, Germs, and Steel author Jared Diamond describes our history in terms of millions of years and also stated that even scientists who run by the guidelines of the theory of evolution rarely agree on even an approximate date in terms of X billion years.

It's a toss up by any means dictated by personal beliefs. But really, I'm curious where the 5768 came from... please update!
