When playing board games, do you play by 'house rules'?

Uno...we play that you can add 'draw fours' on top of 'draw twos'....once someone had to pick up 16 cards!

We have a game that is Spongebob and the other characters from the show. My daughters and I when we play adapted it a bit to make it "fairer" for the players.
It takes awhile to play the game anyway but we had a lot of fun doing it. We just changed the part about how the turn goes after you roll the dice.
