Hi,

If the domain of f is (5,∞) and its range is (-∞,-3). then the domain of f^(-1) is (-∞,-3) and its range is (5,∞).

Just like a set {(4,7), (8,-10) has an inverse of {(7,4), (-10,8)}, where the domains and ranges reverse, the domain and range of function f reverse for the inverse function.

I hope that helps!! :-)
