According to that fine upstanding pillar of society, Nancy Grace, and her show, he followed the standard procedure used by homosexuals to solicit sex from a police officer in the next stall. They played the entire interview on air and though Craig protested many of the points, in the end he agreed and entered a guilty plea.

He pleaded guilty to the solicitation of sex. Solicitation of sex is illegal in all states. You can argue semantics all you want, but he admitted to a crime.
I'm a conservative, and I've noticed something during all this:
Republicans who wanted to crucify Clinton for getting some in the Oval Office seem to think Craig did nothing wrong.
By the same token, Democrats who anointed Bill as their patron saint want Craig strung up.
Simple fact is, Craig admitted to committing a crime, and should have resigned, but effective at the end of his speech, not one month later.

It is illegal to solicit sex in a public place.
Remember, Craig has a laundry list of sex offense charges following him as far back as the 60's.

Incapable of controlling his hormones that were ticking off like a bomb. and forcing him do tap-dancing and playing the invisible piano at the wrong place with the wrong audience, and to the wrong tune! :-)
He was caught red-handed and cornered, and he knew then, he had no way out but to plead guilty! What kind of Senator was he if he doesn't know that everyone is innocent until proven guilty? He owned up to his guilt so he can't be innocent!

He didn't break any law. Nowadays all you have to do is wake up in the morning and you have just violated some kind of, so called, law. This country I was raised in (The U.S.) is quickly deteriorating into a fascist dictatorship before our very eyes. By the way I am THE ALL AMERICAN!!!!

He could have had this thrown out of court in a matter of minutes, but stupidly chose to plead guilty to a lesser charge to avoid publicity.

He broke no laws. He should have spoken to an attorney before pleading. I bet either way though he would have had to leave the Senate.

I think he pled guilty to disorderly because he knew that you don't have to be guilty to be railroaded by the liberal press, and exactly what he feared has happened.
I actually hope he doesn't resign. I actually voted for him more than once in my adult life. I actually think he didn't do anything wrong.
