Desert cammies. San Diego is a Navy and Marine town. Probably a tribute to our troops on the holiday weekend. There were a large number of Marines on hand, and they got a good ovation from the crowd and the players when the Red Sox played the Padres in late June.

The San Diego Padres were wearing cammie uniforms as a salute to the military that are stationed in the area. San Diego Padres have been doing this for years. This isn't something new they decided on for this year. San Diego has large number Navy and Marines stationed in the area.
