I have one friend who I deeply respect. He makes it known at the beginning with everyone that he is married and is interested in FRIENDS only. (nice tater!hehe)
Others here, I suspect dabble in flirtation and have spouses. Do you think that is innocent??? Personally, I wouldn't want my spouse flirting anywhere (even on the computer!)
what's your opinion?

This is true. I am married and have no intentions other than wasting time on here. I hope I've never done that, flirt that is, or give anyone the wrong impression! Please call me out if I do...that ain't right!

Flirting is wrong, but, it's difficult to try and raise the esteem of another who is of the opposite sex without it sounding like a flirt. That's why I bring up my wife in as many examples as I can. If there is an absolute knowledge of "women need not apply" on my avatar then I can safely give others compliments without it sounding like I want their body. It also helps if the wife has full access to my account along with passwords and user names. Checks and Balances!

I to am married and I only want to be friends. My eyes only see my wife in that special way . If a man or woman talks to you in flirting ways, it's nice if kept decent . A person must know that the promise that they made to there spouse was for life.I do ..you sould......

I wouldn`t do that..I mean come on! Why flirt when you have a man at home RIGHT THERE with you..you can do more than flirt with your own husband! If I were you I'd stop before he catches you,and try to wonder off and flirt with other females! Trust me,you wouldn`t want that..he stay out late,go to bars, hang out with his friends more..and all that guy stuff!

I heard that flirting with others can help strengthen a relationship, I don't know if there's much truth to it though. But it seems harmless so I don't see anything wrong with it. I flirt with a ton of people online but I'm usually never serious about it.

I don't think it is right... I am married...

Sometimes things online can also be misread, for instance jokes or sarcasm because the vocal tone is missing very little of our comprehension is from words alone which can make this a strange place with misunderstandings...

I don't condone flirting with others while married. I feel this is just wrong and can easily be detrimental to the marriage.

Its really up to if the spouse agrees with it or not, some couples can handle it and others can't. Myself I wouldn't recommend it

If it is harmless flirting, I dont see the harm.....

If it gets serious, then yes it is bad. When they start lying to cover up things and cant be honest, then there is a problem

i know what you mean. but i also feel a little harmless flirting is ok.i have flirted with girls i have no interest in just for the fun of it. i think flirting is fine if your partner is ok with it and you dont go overboard with it.
