No, I don't. The only thing another attack would approve is that the Republicans have no idea what they're doing.

I wouldn't bet on that. Part of what we hear every day from the conservatives in defense of George Bush is "Well, there haven't been any more terrorist attacks on our soil have there?" What will they say when they can't claim that anymore? Who is going to blame the Democrats for another terrorist attack - it would be Bush and the Republicans who would take the flack. I know what people say who believe this - that the people will elect a Republican into the White House because they don't think Democrats are tough enough on terror. But I don't believe that is what would happen. I think they would rush to elect a Democrat because obviously what we've had for 6+ years isn't doing the job or we wouldn't have been attacked again.
Personally? I don't care who's in charge if another terrorist attack occurs. If the timing is an Al Queda tactic to affect our elections then why would I want to feed into their use of fear and intimidation? I'm not going to change my mind about who I'm voting for because they want to play games with American heads. And I know one of the first things everyone is going to want to know: How Did They Get In? If it was through our porous borders it's going to land squarely on Bush for not making that a priority and in turn it will affect the Republicans negatively, just like everything else he has done.

The Dems have imployed with the defeat of the shamnesty bill & No support on enforcement there defeat with draw an non support of the troops>?What's left> There running out of bush bashing time he isn't running in 08>? I guess they will charge every 1 for something>Thats not working either>

So Republicans are hoping for another terror attack - how unAmerican.
But still - I thought we were fighting them in Iraq so we didn't have to fight them here - don't tell me that is a lie as well?
