my little brother installed "zwinky" on my computer and it involved installing directX, how do i get rid of it?

You don't - DirectX is a vital part of your graphics card. It is required to run 3d Graphics. It is part of the Operating System. Just newer versions keep appearing.

U dont want to un-install directX trust me. Just goto control panel then add and remove programs find zwinky on the list and delete it.

Simple to just answer your question===> Click Start Control Panel Add/Remove Programs then Remove DirectX But I highly recommending keeping it......

It may have an option to install directX, but you should have already had it installed, as it installs with Windows. Many programs (games, especially), require DirectX.

why do you want to uninstall direct X? it is a program that you need anyway... it part of the systems setup.. it tells you if everything is working as it should...

sound card.. video card... in/out put.... don't uninstall it you could have problems if you do...
