Ok, you must want to hide something? Being that you are stashing paper. I would remove the switch plate from a wall switch unscrew the screws and pull out the switch and tape the bill to the back of the box and put everything back in place. As a handyman I have found more thing stashed behind switches and outlets.

I would keep it in my wallet. The chance of losing my wallet is extremely low and the most dangerous place is often the safest place. :)
