What evidence indicates the silver compounds are light-sensitive if you absorb the mixture of AgNO(sub)3 + NH(sub)3 on a scrap of paper and observe?

You don't need the (sub), we know what nitrate and ammonia are. My guess is that the paper will become brownish, but I haven't really tried it.
