This question has answers that no one will ever know for sure. As much as people want to believe that they are in control, there is NO WAY of being entirely sure. I, for one, would love to believe that I am superior to fate and control what goes on in my life...but that can only be so true. You can only reign over so much, and the rest is left in the hands of fate, life, whatever it is that you want to call it. I'm not saying this from a religious standpoint at all, because I don't even believe in any god of sorts. It's just something I've come to terms with. And my beliefs are not for everyone, I understand, but what works for me works for me. You have to find what is best for you.

I think there are some things that I can't control. Yet there are some things I can make a decision on. Most importantly, my thoughts and what to act on but again not 100%. Sometimes I wonder if its just gut feeling or an subconscious response. I read a book that says before we are born here, we plan our life in order to learn and experience what we need to. Yes there is perhaps reasons for everything. But also it mentions we do make our own decisions. According to the higher beings mentioned in the book, there are two things paramount to our reasons for being here: love and learning. When we make decisions, we can ask: have we loved and have we learned. So thus, fate does not have a hand in all things.

No my life is not planned out. During my existence I will come to several crossroads and I will have to make a decision which road to follow. There is the possibility I will choose the wrong road and (hopefully) learn from my experience and change directions. How ever I do believe that every person get's at least one change for happiness be it in love or money. But you have to recognize that moment to be able to get it.

I think your fate is your fate but I also think certain things can change the path you take or even the end of your journey.

Aside from scientific considerations, it doesn't make common sense that whether i go for a walk this afternoon or not was decided or 'preordained' a split second after the big bang............
