i know so many people who have kids and no husband/wife. (we won't mention the ones who have DIFFERENT BABY DADDIES/MOMMAS!)

Because people put their need for sex above the need for a commited relationship - No contraceptive is 100% fool proof (do the math...)
People don't understand what marriage is all about.. .we hardly understand what a relationship entails if you minus sex from the equations (or some other selfish payoff)...
Kids happen because people have sex. Without thinking through what a marriage relationship really means with the person that they share a bed with and don't really care in the long run really.

I have no idea, but it isn't right.
Marriage is very sacred to me. Children are meant for a partnership (man & woman) and in complete love. There should be no other way.
