I've seen that a lot of people like to speculate Slytherin. However, Albus Severus distinctly seemed to be afraid of being sorted into Slytherin. He obviously would rather have been a Gryffindor. I would barely consider the other two houses.
Harry told him that the sorting hat went by Harry's preferences, so he believes it will do the same for his son. He told him that either way, things would work out; I see his son as ending up in Gryffindor, though, like his father (Harry) and grandfather (James).

hmmmm .... what would it be like for Albus to be in Slytherin House with young Scorpius, the son of Draco, who still probably owes Harry and Ron a life debt.

Harry comforts Albus, who is worried he will be sorted into Slytherin, by telling him that his namesake, Severus Snape, was a Slytherin and the bravest man he ever met. He adds that the Sorting Hat takes one's own choice into account.
We really do not know what house Albus is placed into. Maybe when J.K. Rowling comes out with her Magical World Encyclopedia...

Severus Albus Potter would hopefully be in Gryffindor.
His parents and grandparents were all in Gryffindor, so I would suppose that he would be a proud Gryffindor also.
It would be interesting if he got into Slytherin, would make a great FanFiction. ;]
He might be in Ravenclaw, both Ginny and Harry are fairly clever.

I think it is a toss up between Slytherin and Gryfindor. It could be either one, but it would make an interesting plot twist for him to be in Slytherin, well if Rowling considers writing another book. She certainly left it open for more books, but who knows? We assume that Voldemort is dead, so is there really any reason to continue the books? We'll see.

i think he'll want to go to Gryffindor like his father. plus harry told him the sorting hat will change its decision if the person really wants to be in a certain house.
I wish it wasn't all over. :(
