Maybe your mom might be short on cash. Its not easy trying to run a house and shop for girls. Girls clothes cost a lot of money and we can't just have a few we want a lot. It also maybe because you are growing and all those nice clothes will not fit you in a few years and she may feel like buying too many is not a good use of money especially if she is on a budget. Try asking her if you can do some extra chores around the house and if she can pay you for those extra chores. This way you can buy what you want and learn how to manage your money as well. She will really appreciate the fact that you are trying to be an adult about the situation and not a bratty litle girl who just wants things given to her.

Well, I understand by what your mom means by not wasting too much money, she does have like bills to pay and to keep a roof over your head. I would suggest just probably going to stores that have a big huge sale openings. Espeacially tomorrow since its labor day, stores in right now have lots of offers. I heard that Mervyns is selling there clothes for $2, $4, $6. Labor day special. Right now every store you go there'll be Big HUGE SALEs. So I'm sure it won't be a problem tomorrow. A mall that I always go and LOVE cuz i pretty much find everything i need there, is the BREA MALL but then again depending on where you live. Hope this helped.

I don't know how old you are, but when I turned 12 (20 years ago or so) my mom gave me 100 bucks, dropped me off at the mall, and said she'd be back in few hours. I did the best bargain shopping of my life. Cuz those clothes had to last ALL YEAR!
I don't know how much your mom is willing to spend. So why don't you just ask for the money. You will suddenly realize the money dosen't go far. But you will learn how to bargain shop. Some of the clothes I got at the age of 14 lasted me 10 years.
I know your fashion is important to you. But your mom probably needs to buy food and save for college for you.

Being a broke college girl I don't have a lot of extra money to spend on clothes, so i see where your mom is coming from, but i can defiantly relate to your problem. Offer to do extra chores around the house, be disgustingly sweet, tell her you love her, just butter her up really good, that always worked for me. Remember even though new clothes make you feel great by the time you are my age nobody will care about what your wearing they just like you for your personality.

Just goto jcpenny's and stuff and tell her you need new clothes for a new school clothes. Tell her lots of your clothes you grew out of or something. Or even tell her you will be willing to earn the money by cleaning the house for her and stuff. Just talk to her, Im sure she'll sorta understand.
Good luck w/ it!

tell your mom the truth and how you feel, tell her that you tell me that i CAN buy clothes but you never LET me. ask for an allowance because you're old enough to take responsibilities for your chores, and just tell her that your clothes are getting short or small and say you'll promise to be careful with what you spend.

I feel you man my mom only got me 2 puma tees and she said "thats enough." So really I can't help you except go shopping with your friends more so she can let you use at least SOME money.
