I doubt the Diamondbacks will make it to the WS because of lack of inexperience, but will make the playoffs.

I agree with your Teams in the Playoffs but the World series will be this Red Sox vs Cubs and the RED SOX winning the World Series.

First, there is the Cubs factor which says in a close race they will choke if the Cardinals are chasing them. I would like to be wrong about that.
Second, there is Yogi Berra's theorem: "Good pitching beats good hitting and vice versa." That would dictate in short 5 and 7 game series the Padres with Peavy, Young and Maddux and Brocail, Bell and Hoffman in the bullpen. The Angels are a smart choice in the AL as the Red Sox would be.

No way that the Angels would make it to the World Series. That's just your inner fan talking and I have no problem with that. But, if we're really talking baseball, out of those 8 teams, the two who would make it to the World Series are the either Diamondbacks/Mets or the Indians. Bottomline, the Indians will win it this year. They have a decent all around team, and my man C.C. Sabathia is a right handed BEAST.

Tigers are the Wild Card in AL (not Yankees)
and, in the World Series, I see the Mets over the Indians
in 6 games.

I agree with all the teams except I think the Mariners will win the wild card. I think the world series is the Cubs against the Angels with the Cubs winning in 5.
