Anyone born in the US is a US citizen. If your parent's are vacationing in the US from China, and they give birth, you are automatically a US citizen. Many people around the world have duel citizenship because of that. It is why quite a few illegals come here and try to have their child here, because the child automatically gains citizenship.

In your little scenario, the child born between the Chinese woman and the American, is an American citizen. Her child, and American citizen had a child with another American citizen. That makes the kid 100% American.
