Study at Princeton, with full technical paper explains how @
website: http://itpolicy.princeton.edu/voting/

Shows exactly how easy it would be for someone with access to one voting machine to take advantage of malicious code and infect and rig an entire election with a simple virus, that would be able to steal votes and cover its tracks.
So easily when your brother is in control of the election as Jeb Bush was, in Florida.

This shows it can be done..and we all know who was capable of doing it in 2000.

The real concern is contacting your representatives and having them change the voting procedures for use of the Diebold voting machines for the next elections.

Once again, from your own left leaning newspaper.

On Nov. 12, 2001, The New York Times ran a front page article that began: "A comprehensive review of the uncounted Florida ballots from last year's presidential election reveals that George W. Bush would have won even if the United States Supreme Court had allowed the statewide manual recount of the votes that the Florida Supreme Court had ordered to go forward."

Another Times article that day by Richard L. Berke said that the "comprehensive review of the uncounted Florida ballots solidifies George W. Bush's legal claim on the White House because it concludes that he would have won under the ground rules prescribed by the Democrats."

On Nov. 18, 2001, Linda Greenhouse wrote in the Times that the media consortium's count of all the disputed Florida ballots — in which the Times participated — concluded "that George W. Bush would have won the 2000 presidential election even had the court not cut the final recount short."

Nice try tool.

Mark A is right. After the Florida debacle, there are 4 major newspapers (including the NY Times) that arranged for hand-counting the entire Florida vote (and, not simply the 4 counties in question). In all 4 cases, Bush won by a larger margin than the machines.

Maybe Gore had the machines rigged!

In 2000 they were punch card voting machines. You can not hack a piece of paper. Face it, the TV news said Gore won Florida before the polls were closed. Lots of people who would have voted for him saw that he won and just stayed home. They called the poll to early, republicans still went out and voted, and Bush won. Blame the liberal media for the lose, do not say it was stolen.

Not that was until 2004. They just caged the votes in 2000 and had the Supreme Court decide our president.

I suppose you will still be whining in '08 when the Democrats loose that election too. Have you already decided on who you will blame for that loss?

It seems nobody really cares. We are no longer a democratic country and our vote doesn't mean squat.
