Nice play on words guys. The technical aspect of stance and hitting your target aside, the less the government interfere with my life the better I like it. Gun control doesn't equate to crime control and even it did, the Constitution would need to be amended to change the protection given to our rights. But gun control doesn't work. The rather anti-gun CDC did a three year long study they couldn't show that gun control had any positive impact on crime. Other studies have turned up similar results.

Gun control, the solution of the simple minded.

Gun control is being able to hit your target, as Ronald Reagan put it.

I don't think members of the general public should have access to fully automatic assault weapons, but that's where my idea of banning guns ends.

I am convinced that there would be less crime and less of these mass shootings like VA Tech if there were less restrictions on who could carry a gun where, because there would be a question in the actors' minds as to whether or not they will get gunned down themselves before they have a chance to do any damage.

The Second Amendment is an excellent reference in regards to this issue. Personally I believe that only the guns that belong to law abiding citizens could be controlled- not the weapons obtained by criminals. So the Government starts controlling the law abiding citizens' guns and tell me will the criminals obey the restrictions? I say NO to gun control!!!!

I'd have to agree with bkc99xx.

"The congress of the United States possesses no power to regulate, or interfere with the domestic concerns, or police of any state: it belongs not to them to establish any rules respecting the rights of property; nor will the constitution permit any prohibition of arms to the people;…" Saint George Tucker, Blackstone's Commentaries (1803), Volume 1, Appendix, Note D

"The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes....Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man. Thomas Jefferson's "Commonplace Book," 1774-1776, quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria in Chapter 40 of "On Crimes and Punishment", 1764
